Happy New Year ! Wow this lovely haven exceeded our expectations & with a lovely welcome, 
through your thoughtfulness, we straight away felt right at home. 
Thank you so much for allowing us to stay here at Fellside,
it is apparent how much this lodge is looked after and loved & now by us too. 
We will be back and highly recommend it.

Bash & Donna,
A BIG thank you for allowing us to use your beautiful lodge for our family mini break. 
The only down side is having to go home today.
It’s been lovely having somewhere warm, cosy and homely to come home to after a meal up at the Haybarn!
We will most certainly be back in 2013 for longer!

This was our first visit to Fellside Lodge and there is no doubt we will come back!
The cottage is amazing with fantastic views. Very clean , comfortable and cosy.
This experience will alwys be with us! We will definitely be recommending this lodge to others. 
We had a really good time here !
We can’t wait to come back!

We’ve had a great week staying in the lodge.
So clean, comfy & cosy to come back to after busy days out exploring.
 The location was so peaceful and the views were beautiful to wake up to each morning.
We had great fun in the evenings watching the badgers out of the back window, we will miss them!
We will definitely be recommending the lodge to any friends and family wanting to explore the Lake District.

Stayed in the lodge from 22-26th Oct.
Enjoyed it very much. Beautiful location cosy and comfy.
 Did some of the Hikes mentioned in the booklet. Wanesfell Pike is splendid indeed.
Loved all the kids stuff in the lodge.

Great lodge in a fantastic location.
Good pub on site and 2 others in walking distance though not in the dark.
 Loads of great walks as you would expect.

My wife and I bought our 14 month old son away for his first holiday & have had a wonderful time.
We had horrendous wind and rain for the first 2 days,
but the lodge was big enough & lovely enough for us to hardly notice we were house bound.
Once the weather passed and we were able to venture out,
we found we were very central to everywhere we wanted to visit.
We have had a great holiday and will definitely be recommending this place to friends and family.

We have had a super week in your lovely lodge.

The weather has been very kind to us too. 
We have stayed at Limefitt a few times now and always find it very peaceful and relaxing.
We saw a deer from the back bedroom window yesterday. Will be on the look-out for badgers tonight.

This was our first time in the Lake District. We couldn’t have chosen a better place to stay.
Superb holiday, made even better by Limefitt Park. Very relaxing.
We will definitely be back and wouldn’t stay anywhere else.
Definitely recommend to our friends with kids. Thank you again.

This was out 1^st time in the lakes with our kids and what a great week we had
even though the weather was not to kind we have really enjoyed it
and we haven’t even scratched the surface of what the lakes has to offer.
The lodge and site have been superb and as parents to 3 children its been the most relaxing holiday we have had.
Bash and Donna we will definitely be back.

We had a great week here, with lots of activities,
and just enough sunshine to appreciate the stunning scenery,
including the lovely view from the lodge.

Rowing, kayaking, hamster balls on the water, BBQ, walking, fun factory, Kirkstone Pass Inn,
Crazy Golf , picnics, football, treetop trek, one tired boy  !
A truly lovely cabin.

We have holidayed a few times in the lakes but never discovered Limefitt. So glad we have.
Thank you Bash and Donna we’ve had a Great time made more special
with a beautiful presented Lodge, very clean and cosy !!
Loved the views.
We will be back hopefully next year.

28^th July – 03^rd Aug
This isn’t our first time in the lakes but first time at Limefitt and we had a lovely time.
Beds and showers are lovely and the lodge is nice and comfy.
Good location, easy access to different areas of the lakes.
It did rain at times but if you are prepared it doesn’t put you off, this is a lovely area of England.
We are hoping to come back here to stay next year.

23^rd-27^th July
We have had a fantastic few days here.
The children loved having a paddle/swim in the river pool despite the cold.
We saw a glimpse of a badger one evening on the way back to the lodge.
The lodge has been perfect – warm & clean to come back to. 
Wonderful views form the living room, comfortable beds & great shower.
We hope to be back.

20^th-23^rd July
We have all had a lovely, relaxing weekend. Perfect, homely lodge with everything catered for.
Enjoyed a great walk up Wansfell Pike, beautiful view at the top, well worth the climb!
Altogether a beautiful lodge, great position for walks and nearby towns.

13^th-20^th July
We had enjoyed our stay at Fellside Lodge very much!
The lodge was like a home from home.
We loved badger watching every night.
We saw deer and a squirrel came onto the balcony for breakfast one morning.
 The weather has been quite kind and we have enjoyed walks and done everything we intended to do.
We will definitely be visiting again.

1^st-7^th July
Despite quite a bit of rain we have all had a fantastic holiday.
The lodge was very cosy and well equipped.
Excellent location and views.
We walked  around Buttermere and also to Easedale Tarn from Grasmere
We would certainly like to return.

25^th-29^th June
This was our first time we’ve stayed in this area of the lakes and we were not disappointed.
The lodge was a very pleasant surprise, couldn’t have wished for more,
comfortable, clean, homely and very well equipped.
Bash and Donna have been extremely helpful with any queries we have had and found booking very easy.
We were unlucky with the weather so couldn’t do the walking we had planned,
but it made us visit places we otherwise wouldn’t.
We look forwarding to returning again.

Thank you for a wonderful time in the lakes!
This was our second time to Fellside Lodge and it was just as good as we remembered.
We came with five other families and this lodge was by far the nicest.
Fortunately the weather has been lovely and we have enjoyed some great walks in the hills.
We too were lucky to see two badgers, we also saw some deer.
I'm sure we will be back next year!

30–04 May
We’ve had a fantastic stay, it’s a lovely lodge with everything you could ask for.
We’ve even had lovely weather, how lucky.
Look out for the badgers between 09:00-09:30pm from the main bedroom window;
they are partial to corn on the cob as well other fruit or veg.
We highly recommend South lakes Animal Park whether you’ve got kids or not!
Also gourmet burgers in in white Lion Ambleside not to be missed.
We’ll definitely recommend Fellside Lodge and Limefitt Park to friends and family.

13-15 April
Have had, a fabulous weekend at the lodge.
They kids loved the lodge and the walks around limefitt.
All in all a very enjoyable weekend.

06-13 April
 Our third visit to Limefitt and certainly won’t be our last.
Thank you Bash and Donna for a wonderful relaxing stay in your lodge.
Weather was mixed but we managed 3 excellent walks.
Back to work but feeling very chilled and relaxed.

Thank you for a lovely time.
This is our first time in the lakes and we will be visiting again in the near future.
Breath taking views, lovely food and beer from the Haybarn Inn.
Wonderful log cabin and just an all round relaxed, chilled out time.

This has been our 1st visit to the lakes, what a beautiful place 
The lodge is very homely and cosy with everything we needed and more.
 So clean, and well equipped. We have no complaints what so ever, everything so lovely.
My son stayed here last year and enjoyed it so much he booked it for us as a birthday treat.
We have enjoyed our stay and will be back.
The weather was kind to us (no rain) but would love to see the lakes in summertime.

We came to the lakes for our anniversary and we have had a wonderful time.
The lodge is beautiful and very homely and cosy.
This is our first visit to Limefitt Park and we will definitely be back again.

Wonderful location, superb views, very homely lodge
Lodge is warm, friendly and inviting and being at an elevation,
provides a lovely view of the park and the surroundings both by day and night.

We picked the lakes as our first family holiday.
The first moment we entered the lodge site and this lodge we fell in love with the place.
The moment we got here the views were breath taking a place that will always hold memories for both me and my family.
The lodge is so gorgeous a home from home; a place where you can relax and enjoy all weathers.
My son loved the adventure park on site.
Will definitely be back next year but definitely longer
4 days wasn’t enough to enjoy all the lakes have to offer

the envy of all those guests, having spent a whole month in this lovely lodge.

- thoughtfully appointed lodge, everything you could want - beautiful views of the valley.
Watching the ever changing weather
- always able to get straight out into the surrounding countryside at some part of the day.

It was our second stay in the lodge & we had a fantastic stay. Dont want to go home !
Weather very good. Lodge perfect - has got everything we need. Home from home.
Can't beat the lakes, Gods country even in the rain & mist. It must be one of the most beautiful places on the planet.

Despite the have rainfall. We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay in your extremely welcoming lodge.
We found it spotless & would certainly recommend it to others.
We love the area and even though we live only an hour away and visit often,
we still managed to cram in 5 days worth of activities with our 2 & 4 year old boys. We will be back.

Fellside Lodge & Limefitt Park looked great on the internet and we were thrilled
when we arrived to find the reality was even better !
Fellside Lodge has been a great "home from home" & somewhere that we have looked forward to returning to
after a tiring day going up a mountain.

Weather not to good, but we had a couple of nice walks & drives around the lake district.
We have had a visit from a red deer most evenings and one time she brought her little calf with her.

We have enjoyed every minute of our time at Fellside Lodge.
The location & views are stunning, helped by lovely sunny & warm weather.
The lodge has been a perfect base, and is thoughtfully equipped to a very high standard. We walked in & immediately felt at home - I think that says it all.
We are sure that Fellside Lodge will welcome many more satfisfied visitors in the future.

The lodge is exactly how it was described on your website.
Every need was catered for, and the personal touches were lovely.
We have enjoyed exploring the area, and can recommend a day at the aqua sauna at Whinfall Forest - very relaxing !
We also had a lovely meal at the Queens Head Pub.
Overall, a truly relaxing and lovely time staying at Fellside Lodge, and we are sure to be back in the near future.

where we enjoyed a much needed comfortable break.

Ethan (3 years) has especially enjoyed making use of the onsite adventure playground,

Dear Bash & Donna,
This was our first visit to Limefitt & I'd like to think it will not be our last.
Everything about the week has been enjoyable and even the weather hasn't been too bad.
The lodge itself has proved very comfortable & met all our needs.
We have enjoyed exploring the area and the girls enjoyed Grizedale forest Park.
The cruise on Windermere was another highlight
while the numerous locally brewed real ales has kept one of our party very happy !
We've enjoyed good meals at the Haybarn, The Mortal Man, The Watermill(excellent), the crows at Coniston.
As I write this the sun is just beginning to disappear behind the hills, signalling the end to another fine day & a great week.

We have had a lovely time in Fellside Lodge, it was just perfect, with everything we need and very comfortable and cosy.
Despite the endless Rain ! We have enjoyed our time here, done some great walks, the one up the valley was amazing with lovely views, and the hike !! up Wansfell Pike well worth it, and over to Ambleside.

The gardens at Holehard, just down the road on the way to Ambleside are super.

We've had the most amazing honeymoon we could ever dream of!
Amazing lodge with great views no noise just the birds singing which was great.
Also a dear outside our bedroom window WOW !!
We've done loads like lake cruise, crossing the ferry, pony trekking taking in the sights of the lakes.
We will come back without doubt. Will recommend this stay to anyone.
Once again thank you for a great time of pure relaxing stay.

We spent the day on the boat/train to Lakeside which was bliss, then visited Ambleside & Bowness which are gorgeous.
The park itself is great and the lodge is a lovely space with great views of the hills we got lost in yesterday !

We had a wonderful 3 days in the lodge, the location is fantastic for exploring the lakes and
the park itself more than adequate for a family time together.
We have been very impressed with your attention to detail, I could have left half my kitchen at home ;-)
Our 2 year old was thrilled to be greeted by 2 ducks at the gate on arrival and has enjoyed lots of firsts. First boat ride on Windermere lake, first train journey to Haverthwaite and first Cinema experience (sort of) at the world of Beatrix Potter.
We will be back.

15-17 April
The lodge was in a great location and was very convenient.
We really loved it here it’s very cosy and we had a great time.
We did lots of walking here and in Ambleside, it was very comfortable stay here.

We had a lovely stay at your lodge. Wish we booked longer.
The weather was terrible but didn't stop us from enjoying our stay.(Made it much cosier).
No doubt we will be back when the baby is born.

Very nice cabin. You can see it not the normal rental cabin. Very well equipped, clearly by someone who owns/living here.
The park is fantastic and also a very good base to explore the lakes and walking trails.
Also very good value for money compared to B&Bs and hotels.
We will be coming back soon.

We have spent a lot of time in the Lake District and we have our favourite places which now Limefitt Park is one of them.
We have had a very relaxing time and done some lovely walks despite the weather (typical lakes).
Lodge facilities fantastic, weather ok, views from the lodge - priceless ! (will miss them).

Excellent Stay. Beautiful Lodge, stunning views. Much needed relaxing break, so peaceful.
Weather fantastic. The Haybarn Pub very friendly. Enjoyed evenings sitting outside with a nice cold pint.
We celebrated my husbands birthday with a fantastic meal on front decking. Bottle of wine. Lovely sunset back to work for him now stress free. Will visit again. Thanks very much.
