Limefitt Park features lakeland stone buildings, mature trees and traditional stone walls - which gives way to grazing sheep, as the valley rises steeply upwards to meet the peaks of the Yoke, Froswick and High Street which dominate the landscape.
With its spectacular and unspoilt surroundings, there's direct access to the Lakeland fells and an abundance of walks and wildlife. Limefitt Park is a paradise not only for walkers and climbers but also for a whole host of outdoor activities.

Limefitt Park with its many open spaces offers numerous possibilities for the youngsters to burn up surplus energy. The most important people at Limefitt Park are its guests - and nowhere more so than in the friendly onsite pub, where you are assured of a warm welcome. On offer are a range of meals and a selection of fine ales, meticulously kept and served for your enjoyment.

Haybarn Lakeland Pub The Haybarn is located at the end of Main Drive, which is the highest point on Limefitt Park. The large outdoor beer garden is the perfect location for a spot of lunch or a refreshing beer whilst catching the afternoon sun and admiring the wonderful views over Wansfell and the hamlet of Troutbeck.
The interior with its Lakeland stone, wooden beams and floors, comfortable settees and wood burning stoves add a real touch of character, perfect for a quiet evenings drink.
The restauraunt offers a small range of tasty meals which can be eaten in the beer garden / restaurant area. A selection of hand-pulled ales are available.
The usual bar games such as pool, darts, giant size jenga & connect-4 can be found. A small video room contains slot machines, and a couple of arcade games. Sky sports is available in the bar area.

Reception The old mill now serves as the reception/office for Limefitt Park. The Park Manager and his dedicated team ensure that the park operates as smoothly as possible.
A copy of your Limefitt Holiday Lodges Rental agreement must be shown to the reception staff, in order to gain entry to the holiday park. A security barrier spans the bridge which leads onto the park and to the limefitt lodges. The park also has a night warden who patrols the park, just in case the badgers are eating to many jam sandwiches near the cabins.

A public pay-phone and additional visitor parking can be found adjacent to reception.

Onsite Shop The reception also doubles as the onsite shop. A range of groceries, and a variety of beers and wines are available. The shop maybe small but it has all the basics, perfect if you left something behind or looking to purchase a couple of items.
Day to day items such as milk, bread and newspapers are also available. The DVD rental library, provides a wide selection of films for all the family to enjoy, in the cabin.
The shop does a roaring trade in sweets and ice-creams, especially during the summer.

WiFi Internet Connection Free WiFi connectivity is available 24/7 on Limefitt Park.
A good signal can be found on the deck & inside the cabin.
An internet terminal is located in the Haybarn pub. (local payment required)

River Pool One of the highlights is the Troutbeck river pool. The bend in the river has created a pool which is approx 4 foot deep in areas.
You will struggle to keep the kids out of the water, its perfect for paddling and the rope swing is calling out for your best, Tarzan impression. The river contains many small fish but you need to be still to see them and even quicker to catch one. Have a look at the video to see an expert in action !
Let the kids explore nature and enjoy the simple pleasures in life

Kids Adventure Playground The enclosed playground is situated near to the river pool. It contains the usual favourites such as a zip-wire, swings, slide, see-saw, sand pit and several balancing stations. It's sure to keep the kids happy for an afternoon. There are several picnic tables in this area.

Pony Trekking & Horse Rides Situated onsite is "Lakeland Pony Trekking" who have direct access to the tracks and bridleways of the delightful Troutbeck Valley and magnificent high fells.

Sports Field The Limefitt sports field with its football pitch and badminton & grass tennis court provides plenty of space for the kids to let of steam and to make new friends.
